Women tend to cringe at the very sight of the sun, since you see, we worry about our coatings much more than we should. Why? It takes weeks to liberate ourselves of a solitary burn, and we’d rather circumvent the chaos. However, with summertime getting into our skins one way or another, here are four easy cures to getting rid of that sun tan. Pick your favorite, follow it, and watch the transformations.
Turmeric powder and lemon juice
A sprint of turmeric powder mixed into lemon juice aids in getting rid of sunburns. Nonetheless, for faster results, this paste must be applied consecutively. Here’s what you do: mix a tablespoon of lemon with a dash of turmeric powder, a teaspoon of gram flour, and a drop or two of milk. Leave the paste on for twenty minutes, and wash it off with cold water.
Milk and white flour
Washing your face with milk every now and then could do wonders for your skin. However, this is not the remedy for skin types prone to acne or boils. Mishmash four tablespoons of milk into a tablespoon of white flour, and leave the mixture to dry. Once dried, rinse it off without face wash – lukewarm water could do the trick.
Potatoes
This remedy is specifically for the lazy girls, for the reason that life couldn’t get any easier than this. Cut a medium sized potato into two halves, and leave them in a bowl of cold water in the fridge, for thirty minutes. Nourish your skin with these slices – repeat the routine, till your sun burns cease to exist.
Cornstarch
Cornstarch is extensively popular for the miracles it does to sun burns. All you need is icy water, and a teaspoon of cornstarch, to make this paste. Apply it on for fifteen minutes on a regular basis, and see for yourself.
